Getting Started
Booking an Event
In order to book our catering services, a catering contract, found at the bottom of this page, must be filled out and signed. A deposit is due upon signing; the amount of the deposit will depend on the type of function and/or the number of guests attending. For more deposit information, see the banquet contract.
Menu Pricing
We work our pricing a little differently than you may find elsewhere. Our menu pricing is priced per person, which includes all china, flatware, glassware, linens, table skirting, coffee service and cake cutting.
Menu Alterations
If the accompanying menus do not satisfy your needs, please feel free to let us know.
We pride ourselves on our ability to satisfy the most discriminating of palates, whether they are traditional, exotic or gourmet, and we are more than willing to tailor a menu to meet your specific needs.
Menu Substitutions
If cake is being provided for a special occasion, such as a wedding, birthday or retirement, you have the choice of substituting a fresh vegetable tray & dip or fresh fruit tray & dip for the dessert that is included on all of our menus.
Wait Staff
There is a $17.50 charge per Berwick Manor staff member, per hour with a minimum of 4 hours. There is also a $15.00 charge per Berwick kitchen staff member. The number of staff members required for your event will depend on the number of guests and the type of menu selected. When figuring the amount of hours for which the wait staff is needed, the duration of the function, setup time, and tear down time must all be taken into consideration.
Bar Information
We can provide bartenders for a fee of $95.00 for a minimum of 4 hours, and all additional hours are $15.00 per hour, per bartender. We can also be of service to you in planning your beer, liquor and wine requirements. All bar set-ups (i.e. soda, tonic, juice, fruits and bar mixes) can be provided for $2.75 per person.
Taste Testing
We provide food taste testing for up to 8 people. It is preferred that taste testing appointments are made at least 24 hours in advance and are scheduled during lunch hours on Monday through Friday or dinner hours on Wednesday through Friday. If you have scheduling conflicts, we will be happy to work around your schedule. Up to 6 entrees, 4 sides, 4 vegetables, and any specialty items that are not found on our menus may be selected for the tasting. There is no charge for this service, but we do ask that a gratuity be paid to your waiter/waitress.
The Berwick Manor is not responsible for any damages or loss of client merchandise, nor are we responsible for articles left prior to, during or following the event.
Unconsumed food provided by the Berwick Manor will not be packaged to go and no carry-out containers will be provided for buffets.
